In an effort to get the whole fam damily 😜 involved in the no sugar choices for dinner, I made a meal planner board on Pinterest that all of us can pin to. Tonight, I made Bug’s choice… Cheddar Bacon Chicken. It is delicious! Probably not the best choice for fat content, but definitely low carb/no sugar!
It is essentially chicken breast covered in teriyaki sauce, then covered in ranch dressing, then covered with cheddar and crumbled bacon! Crazy good! I served it with steamed broccoli and thoroughly enjoyed every bite!
I am still not hitting my recommended protein intake. I am going to have to figure that one out since my day seems to only consist of veggies. I load up on protein at dinner, but it is never enough.
Still dealing with the PCOS issues. When I have done “no sugar” before, I generally had relief within a couple of days. But since I am now on day 9 (taking Sunday’s off so I don’t lose my mind) I can’t understand why I am still struggling. Although in the past, as soon as the issues cleared up, I went right back to old habits. Maybe this is God’s way of making certain I stick with it this time!
