We’ve tried sugar-free, Paleo, Whole30, Keto, OptaVia… some things have worked, some things we’ve had to work hard at. Ultimately, they were all fads. Unsustainable in the long term and the weight comes back.
We’ve decided to look at things differently this time. It’s about making lifestyle changes. This is nothing earth shattering. But, for us, this is the start of baby steps. We are going to put one small step in front of the other to get to our big goals.
I will share our goals in tomorrow’s post. Tonight, I wanted to share my intention of blogging daily through this process. I need the accountability of sharing my journey here to hold me to the process.
The truth is, like any other well-intentioned plan, I start – go strong for a couple of days (or weeks) – and then life gets in the way. Something stupid comes up, or I get lazy, and posts don’t happen. Case-in-point: my faith journey posts. To tackle this, I am changing ,y habits. I was getting up in the morning and spending time in reflection, reading the daily readings and writing my blog post for the day. I want to change that. I am going to write in the evenings and spend time reflecting on the day.
So… here I go!
